If you have permissions to view or edit an organizational account (e.g., a department email address that is not associated with a particular person) or resource account (e.g., a conference or meeting room calendar for scheduling), you will want to access that account via Microsoft Outlook. Giving Delegate Access

Complete the following steps to grant someone delegate access.

  1. Launch Microsoft Outlook and then select Tools from the tool bar. A drop-down menu displays.

  7. When you see the name of the person to whom you want to grant delegate access, select their name from the drop-down list.
  8. After selecting the person’s name from the list, select the Add button. The Permissions screen displays.
  9. Select the permission that you wish to assign to this delegate.
  10. After selecting the appropriate permissions for this delegate, select the OK button to save your changes.
  11. The delegate’s name, to whom you just granted access, now appears in the Delegates who can act on my behalf field.
  12. Select the OK button when you have finished assigned delegate access.

The delegate access permission granting process is now complete. Repeat these steps to assign delegate access to additional people.

Receiving Delegate Access

Complete the following steps to receive delegate access.
