Yesterday, Microsoft talked about the future of the Chromium-based version of Edge, announcing a range of new features, and revealing more of the roadmap for the browser. The company also briefly showed off Edge running on macOS, but it didn't make it available for users to try.

Twitter user WalkingCat, famous for finding obscure information on Microsoft products, has posted the link to an installer for Edge for Mac. The installer is for a Canary build, and it's version 76.0.151.0, the same one that was made available for the Edge Insiders on Windows yesterday.
Edge on macOS will be very similar to what's available on Windows, with the only notable difference known so far being that the Mac version won't have IE mode. This shouldn't be a big problem since Mac users likely didn't need IE in the first place, but it's something worth considering.
